Why do we need more Oxygen?

Therapeutic use of an Oxygen Detox Session offers great benefits to anyone. Sedentary lifestyles, lack of proper nutrition and exercise, unrelieved stress, shallow breathing, and polluted air and water are factors contributing to a condition of "low oxygen" in our body tissues.

Simply stated, the less oxygen that exists in our cells, the more vulnerable we become to disease, and our state of health deteriorates. Proper body metabolism requires sufficient oxygen to burn food for energy. When deficient levels of oxygen exist, toxic waste products accumulate, allowing for harmful viruses and microbes to grow. These disease-causing organisms thrive in a low-oxygen environment. Supplying the body with adequate oxygen allows the cells to oxidize ("burn up") the waste products, maintaining health and slowing down the aging process.

Oxygen is Known to:

  • Slow down aging process
  • Stimulate the immune system
  • Improve brain function and memory
  • Oxidize toxins for easy elimination through skin, kidneys and colon
  • Inactivate viruses, bacteria, yeast, fungi, and protozoa
  • Promote cleaner, softer, and rejuvenated skin
  • Create feelings of well-being
  • Enhance cell respiration
  • Relax and loosen muscles, increasing flexibility
  • Produce overall calm
  • Dilate blood vessels to increase circulation, relieve pain and help injured muscles
  • Increase metabolism of organs and endocrine glands
Oxygen Therapy has been used for over 100 years all over the world. Dr. Otto Warburg, a two-time Nobel Prize winner in medicine (1931 and 1944), did considerable research on the body's need for oxygen and claimed, "The fundamental cause of all degenerative disease is a condition called hypoxia" (oxygen starvation at the cellular level). Today, more than ever, health practitioners are realizing the significance of Dr. Warburg's work and the important role this vital element plays in maintaining health.
